Floyd found success finally once he started getting off first rather than waiting for a counter. Pac hardly ever waits to counter. I think he'd keep Maidana honest and wouldn't be able to come in recklessly

Manny is not in his prime, but he still destroys people with Maidana's style. Manny would land shots at him all night. There is some possibility Maidana KO's Manny, but would still give Manny the edge.

 

If Maidana can keep Manny on the ropes, he has a chance. But Manny never allows himself to get trapped on the ropes for too long. If Manny were to keep the fight in the center of the ring, it would be a repeat rounds 7 to 11 of Maidana-Mayweather all night long.

I wonder if the people who actually think Maidana would spark Pacquiao out had this opinion before tonight. Because Maidana is still very much the same fighter.

 

That's a bit unfair to Maidana. Pacquiao is not as fast as he once was and I don't think he has the power to trouble anyone anymore.

maidana has a puncher's chance. He most likely gets sliced up by pacs punches. Pac's not a light puncher like Floyd. Maidana gets stupid in there he gets dropped hard.

 

Clottey who has an iron chin went into a shell. Margarito got a replacement eye. Rios who has a ****** beard went into a shell. Mosley got put on his ass and ran for his life. JMM was also put down and bloodied on the ropes before landing the perfect counterpunch.

Maidana is absolutely not gonna walk Pacquiao down, Pac would drop him and finish him. Notice how Rios approached Pac with a jab and hands up, same as Margo? Fighters dont simply try swarm Pac like they do with featherfisted Floyd.
