Sounds like it still haunts him... i wonder if he'll talk the same way about the Herrera fight in future.

I like Danny Garcia and he is a top tier fighter and pretty big at the weight but if he's going to fight once more at 140 I think he should rematch Herrera. Hell, Herrera already had a win over a top 140 fighter in Provodnikov and I think Garcia may have understermated him but I think any fighter with movement will give Garcia problems.

 

Danny Garcia will KO Matthysse if the rematch is made.

The first fight was a shut out, what would be the point of re-watching the same outcome?

 

If you REALLY saw a shutout , I recommend you get your eyes check ASAP . Vision is a beautiful thing to lose

 

Matty and Herrera both willing and ready to follow Danny to 147 for rematch.

Not giving Matty a rematch is acceptable, since even though I think the eye-elbow really helped enable his win - he still clearly won the fight.

Not rematching Herrera though makes him a paper champ. Herrera clearly beat him, and the cards were not even in the realm of plausibility.

 

Would be really surprised if he gives either khan or matthysse a rematch and really don't see it happening. Garcia snr is too shrewd. Herrera is much more deserving than both however and if anyone deserves a rematch it's Herrera which for some reason I think could happen because garcia was not the underdog for the first time and grossly underestimated his opponent maybe, and could win the rematch. Too much risk and not enough reward though..
