groves has said that he's been paying quite a bit of money to fly in sparring partners from America, no names were mentioned though.

I actually think that rumour is believable. No way would that Rachel be with a guy like Froch who has 0 personality and is 12 years older that much is true but I thought in the the last all access show or whatever it's called she looked fed up around him I even said that at the time.

Add in the fact she's a skank already...

 

For the record I believe all that skipping *** stuff is a load of rubbish. I actually believe Carl Froch is a little bit autistic about things like this, that's where his amazing discipline yet 0 personality comes from.

I do a bit of white collar and amateur boxing and I like to shoot one out on the day of a fight. I'm lead to believe it releases testosterone into the body which can't be bad.

That would be absolutely mad.

Has that ever happened in the history of the sport? I know stablemates/friends/former sparring partners have fought - but have two guys ever gone rounds with headgear while in camp to practice for a real match together? Figure maybe back in the early gloved era where they just didn't give a damn, fought a hundred times a year, drank whiskey in camp etc - it must have taken place a couple times at least? :think

 

Yes it has definitley happend. I can't remember exactly which fight but it was an HBO fight I think and the commentators said preperation for this bout was perfect as they sparred each other.

I think one guy was up graded from the undercard to the main event.
