His determination/activity/relentlessness/aggression would make things interesting . Not to mention Floyd from back then would barely engage with him and probably look to potshot him , to play it safe . Margs aggression and pressure could steal rounds .
The problem is Margarito has cement bricks for feet, even after his bricks were taken out of his gloves. Margarito couldn't catch Pacquiao and he wouldn't catch Floyd either. Both are far too fast of foot for him.
Mayweather comfortably outboxes the much slower Margarito. Maidana to his credit is much more awkward and probably a touch faster than Margarito. Apart from applying constant pressure, he doesnt bring much else to the table. As i mentioned before, Cotto clearly outboxed him until the plaster started setting in, and then Cotto corrected that in the seconde fight.
when did Margarito make anyone quit on their stool? Mayweather would push Margaritos stool back in, and im not referring to the one he sits on.
Margarito caught Pacquiao a couple of times with uppercuts , and badly hurt him and made his knees buckled with 1 shot . It wasn't all Manny in that fight like most people make it out to be , Antonio had his moments as well .
he got hit by guy who outweighed him 20 pounds and him being a former flyweight would expect him to crumble or run but what did many do he came back with all kind of punches in the words of steward " and here comes manny" lampley "straight cross right on the bad eye and anther"
It easy to believe . Margarito bodyshots were killer , many of his sparring partners have said that .
Sure he will . If Floyd himself truly believed he can do that , he would have gladly fought and beaten Antonio and shut everyone up that were saying that he was intimidated by Margarito . But he didn't do that so...
