Geale needs to come out blasting to reinstate his position at the top of the middleweight division.

If Geale shows the aggression he displayed in the Wood fight I can see him winning fairly convincingly.

Macklin is a far more sterner test than Wood but you're right he should show that same type of aggression to wow the crowd so to speak. Geale should try to get a stoppage win and work Macklin to the body and break him down. Whether he can get the stoppage win is another matter.

Even though Wood is nowhere near Macklins level, I expected Geale to box Wood to an easy UD. His aggression surprised me but he looked a much better fighter doing it. Would be good to see how he fares with that approach against better opposition.

Aren't we being a bit hasty here? Ruling Macklin out?

I mean to say Geale won't have a big height and reach advantage over Matt like his last opponent did. He won't have a great jab to keep Mack off either. Geale is not a big puncher. (Whereas Matt has a bit of a dig).
Geale likes to engage which should suit Matt.

All things considered this has to be a very good opportunity for Macklin.

Couldn't agree more , fans rating a Matty win as a non starter are making a mistake , iv'e said it before IF the same Geale that turns up V Mac that turned up for the Baker fight then he will come unstuck...... again .

Ps Fast hands .How's it going mate ?

I'm fairly confident Geale can take this out....... he's been quite on the Aussie media scene so maybe he is just focusing on getting back his belts

If you don't like my opinion why don't you fuk off back to the backslappers club where you and that bittch Sox can sniff Geale's ass all day.

Im not writing him off that's for sure. I just think like the Sturm fight he will start off strong and fade as the fight progresses and Geale will sweep the later rounds for a SD/UD or late stoppage.
