Throwing punches is one thing...landing them.is another. 4 rounds is generous for maidana.

116-112 is ok, 115-113 seems to be the concensus score. 117-111 just a little bit too wide giving Floyd every possible swinground.

    115-113. Can't complain with 116-112, but 117-111 is a joke.

I'm glad that almost 75% feel that Clemens and Morreti were giving Mayweather too much leeway in scoring. Maidana deserves a much closer score for his effort than these Haymon-influenced judges were suggesting.

There were a lot of close rounds where if you turned to talk to someone for 5-10 seconds you may miss defining moment s in the round.
Anything from 8-4 Mayweather to 7-5 Maidana is within reason in my book.
I'm the type who score pretty heavily for body shots. A good counter right by Floyd would be nullified be a good left hook to the body by Maidana.

Many people score more in favor of the clean head punches which snap a guy's head back, but good body shots are every bit as meaningful if not more.

That's why I had a very close fight 114-114, or even 115-113 Maidana!
That's the style I score for.
I can however see why some would go as far as 116-112 Mayweather. His counter rights were flashy.
    117-111 I can't see though.

The closest I had the fight was a draw but I think 116-112 is the right score. The thing is this Maidana was competitive in every round so when you look up and see he only won 4 rounds it make it seem like a wipeout, Maidana was in every round and one or two shots could swing the rounds but the best shots in the center of the ring or on the ropes were landed by Mayweather. I must admit though fight night I thought it was a draw when they read the first score I had the same "oh ****" thought I had when Marquez KO'd Pacquiao lol everybody's gotta lose sometime

for the most part it's some latinos and asians that scored it for maidana. they can't be taken seriously when hate plays a big part of how they view mayweather.

Everyone is going to be feeling like a fool after the replay. Guarantee it. After watching again, I felt the fight was not as close as I first thought. Just wait and see. Promise.

In all actuality, Maidana didnt really do **** unless you want to count body shots landing below the waistline. He got maybe a few clean punches in. Everyone is just reacting on a couple of things and blowing up what Maidana did way out of proportion:

    1. Everyone hates Floyd
    2. Maidana was credited rounds just because he wasnt dominated as per usual so it counted in Maidana's favor.

Just watch the replay. Alot of you are going to feel stupid.

Maidana won 4 rounds for sure so 117-111 is a bad score, i feel Floyd won 7-5 but there were close rounds. I don't think Maidana won but i can see why some would give him a draw.

I had it 8-4 or 116-112 so neither score is that far off. I think 114-114 is a far worse score, damn judge looking at the INeffective aggression and non-scoring blows
