Macklin, Murray in big fights - but little interest

I think Murray is so frustrated with how his career has panned out, he has signed with Golden Gloves purely to get to the Golovkin fight and payday. It's a shame because he is a great middleweight and one my favourite British fighters, extremely humble and nice guy. He must have something planned though. If he just wanted a payday he could have signed with Hearn and had big domestic showdowns on Sky on any of the frequent Liverpool cards...

Actually Murray is fighting for the much coveted and prestigious WBC Silver belt... Must be going for the Martinez/ Cotton winner. Why Golden Gloves???

I like Macklin a lot. Murray I have never been keen on though I can't explain why.
I suspect that enthusiasm has wained because hopes were high for both men and after repeated opportunities it seems that both have missed their chance to become a World Champion.

 

1 million reasons why. Rodney Berman came up with the biggest offer for Murray and he's got connections with the IBF and HBO. Murray will get a world title shot under Golden Gloves.

 

and no body will care. gonna cost to get a world champ to go to South Africa to fight.

Really though, Murrays biggest problem is he is denied acces to America.
