I don't think Brook will duck, if he did then that's the end of any cred he has, i mean even Brook supporters want him to finally fight someone world level, if he pulls out people will i think be done with him and not be bothered with him unless it's against a elite fighter. Not even Fast Car could spin Brook not fighting Porter, has to happen and now no more warm up fights, eliminators it needs to happen now. Hope Porter doesn't vacate and Brook get's some sort of easy title shot although to be fair with the WW division so stacked i imagine Brook would have to fight someone quality for the vacant title, even so i want him to fight Porter not someone else but Porter who is proven world level.
Really unlucky he didn't get Paulie or Alexander. That being said it's time for Kell to **** or get off the pot. Very hard to call this one!
I actaully agree and think Brook will beat Porter, id love to see Khan get another win at Welter and then these two fight in a football stadium next year it would be brilliant.
This.Fast Car will do damage control inferring there is not enough money offered or some such thing.Porter in an entire league above Kell-and Kell knows it.
I don't think Brook will pull out. Contrary to popular opininon most fighters (Brook included) aren't scared of the big fights. With that said thought, Porter would have too much for Brook. Brook has spent too long fighting hopeless opposition. Porter being 'wild' isn't necessarily a disadvantage...rewatch Mayweather - Maidana if you doubt that
Diaz isn't a bad fighter - better than anyone kell has fought and since Porter has beat him, beat alexander and destroyed Paulie. If Kell struggled with Jones the first time I think he might struggle with Porter hes rough and wont give Kell the breathing his space he likes to have to pick his punches, Porter has improved since the Diaz draw and taken on better fighters and won. Kell has stayed fighting weak opposition and that to me is the key
Brook isn't a big puncher, gets hit by countless right hands and squares up when throwing his own right. He also stands tall, doesn't move his head and fades as a fight goes on. Doesn't bode well when going against someone with Porter's style. Would be great to see him do it, but I'm not holding my breath.
I agree 100% the hype on this board is unbelievable for Porter, I agree his win over Paulie was impressive but Paulie is very shop worn now and way past his best. I think Brook stops Porter in the mid to late rounds.
