Porter? who the F has he beaten to get moved to the front of the line? I am not sure he can beat Kell Brook.

I said..."Based on what I have seen from all 3 fighters of late."

Porter looks to be the most dynamic of the 3 right now. Maidana is the most proven (against Floyd). Manny has noticeably slipped some.

It`s not that Porter has insane power. It`s his speed, power, tenacity and will to win that will keep PBF looking the other way. And PBF doesn`t want any of Thurman either ! Real young, hungry and multi-talented fighters ! At their natural weight ?? Never gonna happen...

I'm not sure about Thurman, I don't think he can beat Floyd. Porter though, he has the style and relentlessness.

Porter isn't that good, he's a flash in the pan who caught Malignaggi at the right time. He's strong and is exceptionally rangy for someone of his build. He caught Malignaggi with some real lunging shots. Porter looks really good against fighters with no power such as Malignaggi, Alexander, or Julio Diaz, but i think Mayweather 's timing is too good, and he's too accurate for Porter; also too good defensively. As someone else said it higher up,.. Porter probably won't beat Kell Brook. How will Porter look against someone who has good accuracy, and good timing when he lunges in with those left hooks. Have we ever seen porter caught cleanly by an exceptional boxer round after round? Have we ever seen him tagged by a powerful fighter like Kell Brook, and hold a real shot? No. The Mayweather fight aginst Porter won't happen, there are much bigger payday's out there for Mayweather. But if the fight did happen, I say Mayweather wares Porter down and makes him look average, and that's if Kell Brook doesn't demolish him in about 4 rounds first.

I think Porter needs a couple of more wins first. He beat a ready to retire Malignaggi - big deal (although the KO was impressive). Couple of more wins and he can fight FM next September. Besides, based off of his wildness against Mal, I'd say he should hone in on his skills a little more.

I don't want the Maidana rematch but looks like that's what will happen. Probably be Maidana Sep 2014, Khan May 2015, then possibly Porter/Thurman Sep 2015.
