Let this be a lesson to them both -- we buy only good, competitive fights and no bull**** :smoke.

850K is a flop for Floyd... Still beat the supposedly exciting Manny Pacquiao's last PPV against the "number 3 p4p fighter"...

    Ain't that funny

If one edged the other in sales that means dick all:lol:. The only thing that matters is who looked better in winning. Well neither scored a stoppage like I challenged them :tong.

Why would anyone subscribe to Showtime when Floyd doesn't fight on this channel. If you want to see Floyd in action you have to pay for it -whether you subscribe to Showtime or not.
Espinoza and the CBS experiment is not working like they thought it would.Sho has cancelled their NASCAR.MMA and concert programming and are gambling on boxing.
Anyone will tell you -don't ever gamble on boxing unless you want to go broke.

Not surprising.....I thought it would do a little better but Miadana isn't a big name and even though the undercard was great Floyd carries most cards on his own name. The same with Manny. I think Pac only did around 800k in the rematch with Tim.....Tim isn't a big name and Pac PPV's always have garbage under cards so the numbers reflect the current drawing power each have at this point of their careers.

Floyd's ppv didn't flop at all. Only Pacs fans think that it did.

What do you guys want or expect? Everytime mayweather fights, you guys only have bull**** to say. First of all does anyone even know the break even point in this fight? Does anyone even know how much the card actually costed? people are talking like 900 000 ppv's are garbage. Who else is consistently doing that. Some of you complain about we are not getting fights, quality fights. I agree Broner was a comeback fight which was understandable because he had a rough night with maidana when Broner should not have been in the welterweight division to begin with. No excuse for him cause i actually think that he's not a good fighter it just is what it is.

The khan fight was a good fight, I actually thought that Collazo was going to beat him up cause Kahn was not in the ring for about a year. So when you think about it, this card was actually a good card to see some serious knockdowns or knockouts. It didn't happen! It's not because of the card itself but rather a testament to these fighters.

You guys want mayweather in a tough fight, he was in one regardless of choice to fight as he did, you wanted him tested, roughed up, wanted to see him dig deep, we got that and now you are complaining how the PPV numbers weren't so great.

As I just returned from vegas last night and I had an opporunity to speak to some people about Mayweather and what he brings to the city of las vegas. It's more than PPV's my friends, Mayweather brings jobs in many different industries to the city of Las vegas when he fights. mayweather is really big time regardless if you love or hate him, his events generate lots of money so at the end of the day who cares. Stop witht he bull**** of trying to find something to put him down.

Mayweather-Maidana - fight was on cinco de mayo, expensive and stacked undercards.

Pacquiao-Bradley II - Pacquiao got knocked out 2 years ago, Crap undercard.

    Do the math.

And I'm sure Maidana's huge Mexican influence helped all those that celebrate Cinco De Mayo chip in for the fight :patsch:patsch
Or are you giving that credit to Periban and Molina? Yeah... I'm sure they're the ones that brought in all the Mexican fans for Cinco De Mayo celebration...

I might as well save some time and say it for you, cause we both know you were gonna...

Had Khan fought Broner, I think this would have done better.

GBP has the big names. They just need to put them in there with the other big names to make their shows more relevant.
