i aint being clever mate but that opponent on saturday was an absolute bum and was looking to go down at every opportunity. I dont think he can punch just because he has stopped his last 5 or 6 doesnt mean he can. Lets see if he keeps stopping boys when he actually fights someone who is looking just to get paid

To be fair to Eubank Jnr he has been matched tough. I know the last two guys were not up to much, but he beat Jason Ball, Harry Matthews and Terry Carruthers in his first few fights and he's also beaten Bradley Pryce and Tyan Booth, all of them are tough good pro's who always come to win.
Eubank Jnr has not had it easy as people think and I think that's what getting to a lot of people.

The most surprising thing is that people are picking Eubank Jnr over BJS. Sure it could happen but you would struggle to come up with a solid argument why. BJS is only 19 days older than Jnr but looking at his amateur and professional record then you would think he had 5 years on him! Jnr has fought no one, literally no one and is due a step up. All this 'bringing him on' stuff has got to stop. He has had 15 fights now and needs to fight for a strap. BJS fought for the Commonwealth title in his 13th bout, British in his 15th and is lined up to the European next. You can't go around talking the amount of smack that Eubank is doing and not want to prove your point.

BJS would jump at the fight, I've seen interviews with him where he says as much. So its there to be made. Senior is no mug to be fair and is probably advising him against it. It is a business and he has certainly got people talking, Degale, Ogogo and BJS have all been less than complimentary about him. But where does it stop, 20-0, 25-0 without contesting a bout for a Southern Area strap!

I use to hate him if im honest my mind has been changed ever since last summer when he stopped that guy Matt Hall boxed.

However, im hearing alot of rumours that they dont think he can make middleweight and may have to move up to 12stone!

I think other than the last two fights he has been matched quite good with some decent level of opposition. I think he needs to move on to at least an English title or british eliminator next. He has already stepped up in his next fighting Kerry Hope. A former European champion who beat Proska who challenge ggg. Then maybe Move on to a British eliminator against Nick Blackwell or someone like that

Yes, but needs to be in with better fighters now. Learning nothing from last few fights.

He just makes himself look **** at times with the stupid clowning around he does. For example the whole 1st round in his previous fight he stood in one position in his corner & didn't move. He's decent tho

Ryder blitzing O'Kane alone is way better than anything Jr has done, it's reminiscent of Wilder in that people say he has to be brought alone slowly yet they still pick him to beat fighters who have actually done something

Yeah John Ryder is a good fighter and has had some good wins to date against Farai Musiyiawa, Eamon O'Kane and Jez Wilson. Ryder brings pressure and has a good southpaw jab, but he's got no head movement and takes too many punches, so he wouldn't get away with that against Chris Eubank Jnr. I think it would be a good fight for Christopher after one maybe two more and I see Eubank Jnr stopping him.

Ryder and BJS had a good 12 round high level fight, Chris Eubank Jr was struggling to work out Tyan Booth not so long ago

Could Eubank Jr even hang with Ryder let alone beat him? I'm not so sure at all

Ryder may have his faults, but if you think Eubank Jrs shots would discourage John Ryder, then you must be his father, he is nothing if not a beast, and that is where level of opposition would come into it too

He seems pretty good considering his level of experience. He has progressed at a nice rate too which is a good sign. I get the feeling that if he does come good, he will be a bit of a relatively late bloomer.
