My question is who will be the top 5 welters in a years time? Floyd will of had 2 more fights, garcia probably moved up, bradley coming back from his first defeat, pac still with arum? Khan, maidana, jmm, thurman, mattysse?porter plus others. I think 1 floyd 2 pac 3 bradley 4 garcia 5 maidana.

    Porter, Garcia and Thurman?...

None of these three will be ranking higher than Timmeh' Floyd Pac and even maybe Maidana in just 1 years time. Garcia & Porter will steer clear of Maidana...**** Garcia is going to steer clear of everyone I feel his run of success is over.

Still stick by that it's very competative below them top 3 (Pac, Floyd and timmeh) the guy who can beat the majority of fighters below them 3 will take the 4th spot..Maidana currently claims it.

The worst thing thinking about it is how Timmeh' & Pac have nobody to fight LOL! Such a joke.

    I'd go with

    1) Floyd Mayweather
    2) Manny Pacquiao
    3) Timothy Bradley
    4) Keith Thurman
    5) Marcos Maidana or Shawn Porter

In one year, I think Maidana will still be going strong. I don't think Garcia will be much of a force at 147, he needs a new trainer too. His dad should just be in his camp and corner. Bradley and Pacquiao don't have enough competition to drop lower or go higher than where they are now. Keith Thurman will continue to make noise because the only people I see beating him are Floyd and Manny, and he'd give them a hell of a fight I think. I think Thurman beats Bradley.

I wish this cold war was ended so bad!!!!

    1-Manny Pacquiao
    2-Floyd Mayweather Jnr.
    3-Timothy Bradley
    4-Amir Khan
    5-Kell Brook

My assumption is that Floyd obviously will crack under pressure no matter who he fights- he is 47-0, very close to that number 48-0 which has some supernatural effect on fighters such as Larry Holmes due to Rocky Marciano. There's no easy fights for him right now and since he is not willing to fight a major challenger at ww or lmw or even at mw, he´s gonna try out his usual routine against one hungry challenger who will come in with the utmost disrespect for him and that will be the key for a close decision loss. By the other hand, welters on the rise all rise one step on top but follow the guy who will have a commanding victory at this weight class Manny Pacquiao who finally meets the conditions to call the shots for a fight with Mayweather. Tim Bradley fallows along. Amir Khan probably has another big, big win against a top 5 welterweight but definitely will not fight either Manny or Floyd as yet as 2015. Kell Brook moves in to top 5 as he schools and decisions Shawn Porter in the USA.

thats because he is that guy who tries to cut the food line to the top..faced no real contenders and yet calling out a shot for khan...skipped alexander and probably will skip porter too
