I thought he would get the KO via bodyshot. I was surprised Maidana took them well considering Mayweather was loading up on those punches. I know they were hurting him though, could see it on his face in the later rounds. KOs don't happen in every fight especially when a guy is fighting at higher than his natural weight class. I was a bit surprised Mayweather didn't completely outclass and stop Maidana. But I was also surprised Maidana came in almost 20 lbs heavier than Mayweather, either way Mayweather won. Fighting down to the level of your competition happens in sports, boxing is no different, just like there's no moral victories in losing.
