Kid Gavilan (down three times in his career, never stopped)

Juan LaPorte (Never down in his professional career. Never really saw him hurt badly. Stopped once by Zack Padilla near the end of his career, and that was more a case of the fight being one-sided, rather than LaPorte being hurt.)

Sixto Escobar (Never dropped, never stopped in a sixty-eight fight career)

Yeah, against Padilla I believe he was just laying on the ropes being pounded on. Not hurt, really.

How couldn't you be impressed by Cobb's jaw?

..............Thank you, Drew. I swear to f'ing god.......every time this thread comes up, I am always the only one to mention this guy, and he had a better chin than 90% or more than any of those mentioned hands down.

Juan gets no love 'round heah! :(

Include Billy Graham on the list. In his entire career he was never stopped and even more impressively, he was never knocked down.

Henry Wharton had a great chin - Nigel Benn couldn't budge him when they fought but I doubt that would be enough to get him anywhere near Top 10.

    Barney Ross deserves a mention.

In no order, Chuvalo, Hagler, LaMotta, Pryor, Cobb, Marciano, Spinks at lightheavy, old Foreman.

Hopkins seems to have a solid chin, so does Toney.

I also insist on McCullough. His chin was as good as any of the fighters listed. He never had as many fights as Greb or LaMotta etc, but his chin was just as solid as anyone in history when a punch landed on his beard.

He was a natural bantamweight who took Hamed the distance at featherweight and took Morales' punches at super-bantamweight. Probably Morales' most lethal division regarding his power.

McCullough's chin is just as good as Hagler's.

He would have laughed at the punches of Saddler and co.
