Not enough power, and too many lapses in concentration to succeed at the top. In my opinion of course
A tash that thin is pointless. Grow a full-on Magnum PI or be as bald as a coot. Also, Donaire would handle him with ease. Lack of power is going to catch up with Selby soon.
When he turned to the camera after the fight to give his 'he can't touch me' shite.......... and the feed from that camera wasn't being aired
Yeah, he's gone from being can't miss material to being a bit meh in recent fights. **** knows what's happened, but he's a bit dull nowadays.
Seems more focused on style than substance, imo. I turned it off after the second time Selby turned his back, walked away and got tagged. I hope he doesn't start calling Mayweather "big bro", that would make Selby the "Welsh Broner"
after round 1 i put tv off fell asleep & set alarm for the Marquez-Alverado Boxnation fight tonight All in all....typical **** sky card (apart from callum smith fight).
I think he's got good skills but lacks a bit of power, seems to think he's better than he is which leads to him getting caught a bit too much.
He reminds me of Paul Mccloskey and imo they are of a similar level. Tries to do all the flashy sort of stuff but he isn't quick enough or skilled enough to pull it off and get's caught, he also has little power. Selby and Mccloskey could well be similar Selby fights for a world title but get's hopelessly outclassed.
I know the guy had never been stopped but he didn't any point seem in real trouble at all,a couple of body shots hurt him but nothing consistent. selbys power or lack of,will be his limiting factor
