Ignoring all the weak champions in recent years coming from that division, let's just look at the boxrec top ten. It's made up of jokes, hypejobs and shot-to-bits has-beings. Pacquiao: Shot Marquez: Shot, was beaten by hypejob Tim Bradley who couldn't beat a shot to **** Pacquiao Maidana: C-Level Bradley: C-Level Porter: I do actually rate. He's a good boxer. Thurman: Hypejob Alexander: B-Level Khan: C-level Brook: A joke and a coward Once you get out of the top ten, it further regresses into a giant glut of crapness. Like D-Level Paulie and Brandon Rios. Now for the light-welterweight division. Garcia: Pretty good. I'd say he's a solid B+ fighter. Matthyse: Another solid fighter Provodnikov: Again, another solid fighter But, after three world level fighters we come too... Peterson: A joke who couldn't beat Khan without resorting to using drugs. Vargas: Hypejob Broner: A bum who got destroyed by C-Level fighter Maidana and arguably lost to D-Level fighter Paulie and F-Level Ponce De Leon. Postol: He has potential. I like him. DeMarco: Bum Soto: Bum Herrera: Bum They are the two weakest divisions in pro boxing and yet, are the two divisions that get hyped up the most and get the most media coverage for some reason. It's ridiculous. Two divisions made up of clowns.
WW is the most stacked division in boxing at the moment, you also forgot to mention Floyd. LWW has been a very good division in recent years.
nice trolling! almost perfect job, altough rating bradley as a hypejob and provodnikov as a solid fighter is funny.also garcia is a hypejob, lost to herrera and garcia beat mathysse.so all 3 solid fighters at JWW are total hypejobs.FACT seems like Porter is only legit fighter between 140-147 hope he gets soon exposed as a fraud and a hypejob
True_Hero has lost all sense of reality with that kind of post... 140-147 is stacked with talent, Some may adapt to greatness others will perish! But it takes nothing away from the potential match-ups that can be made at those weights. Even the 160 & 168 divisions are getting slightly better, In a few years I think the middleweight seen all the way upto 175 will finally take off again, The heavyweight division is still the weak link in the bunch unfortunately.
WW is the deepest division in the sport right now. And you already made a topic about JWW being the weakest division. Get some new material, or don't bother.
