Anyone picked a clear winner for Froch/Groves??

I have decided Froch will win on points. Putting money on it this week. No one seems to think it will last the distance but I do. I don't think Froch is going to brawl with him, he will box him the way he did against Kessler in the second fight. He had Kessler so frustrated, he wasn't as effective with his right hand as he would have liked and also Froch was able to out jab him.

I want Groves to win, but this is my pick.

 

I'd like Groves to win but I just cant see it. Froch will do literally anything to win this fight, his legacy and pride depends on it, everything. He somehow got up from that ridiculous punch in the last fight, that shows even when literally knocked out he wont accept no for an answer and will somehow recover. he will just brawl George into a fight and get a late tko I reckon. the only way I see George winning is by a shock brutal KO, I could see it if Carl is far gone from the last beating he took, but if the international superstar is on good form he will take punches all night and snatch it at the end, which will annoy the hell out of me. I think Froch would rather die than lose this fight, that's why I don't see George winning.

 

No although I think froch will win I think the deciding factor in this rematch may well be what effect over the first couple of rounds has mentally on the fighters

 

I give Froch 10% chance and that's being generous

 

groves has a great jab, though, better than kessler's. he has the skills to outbox froch, but doing so allows froch to force the pace. i expect a similar scenario, with groves having early success but no kd, then a late and this time legit stoppage for froch.

 

10% utter rubbish, too many un answered questions for it to be a 10 / 90 fight

 

I think it is really hard for anyone to confidently predict an outcome of this fight.

So many things to weigh up.

Although they are both great fighters, I do want Froch to get the win.
Late KO would be ideal so we can see a good few decent rounds.

 

GG has no antidote for the cobra bite.

Froch stops Culkin in the first half of the fight.

 

Froch will stop him. Carl Froch only landed punches of note in 2 rounds, and GG body could not hold up to that. I fully expect Froch to put more on him so I cant see GG hearing bell, gut feeling Froch will win in first half of fight

 

100% certain Groves will KO Froch by round 3.

This type of talk will just gather steam as we get towards fight night. Ultimately, its a 50/50 fight, which is reflected in the odds. Froch is a slight fav, and rightly so given his record.

I think it will be close but unless the last fight took a lot of of Froch and/or he get's old overnight I don't see what Groves can do differently to win?

Given the first fight started perfectly for Groves with the hurtful knockdown and he still couldn't totally out box Froch (i.e. there were some close rounds afterwards, 2, 5, 8 and 9) why will he be able to out box him this time if he doesn't get an early knock down? Now he may hurt Froch early but it'll be more difficult with him on the lookout for it.

I'm going for Groves being up 58-56 after 6 rounds but being more hurt (which doesn't mean Froch has landed more/bigger, just that he can take more punishment in general). From there Froch will take the 2nd half of the fight and go to either a narrow points victory or a late knockout.
