No, it's still interference to make offers while a fighter is under another promoter's contract. This has come up multiple times in Pacquiao's own history, with Muhammad suggesting that DiBella and Top Rank were tampering and then Top Rank saying the same for Golden Boy. The same applied to Shaw and Thompson's lawsuit against Bradley.

On the real I'm starting to think Arum has something on Pac. Manny can't be that dumb.

Of course he can't. He hired a promoter and it's the promoters job to decide who he fights. Boxing had promoters in place forever.

Or, the other alternative is that you don't know the whole story. I personally doubt Pac's that stupid and I'm pretty sure Arum did try making the Floyd fight, but terms were never agreed to.

Right. If you say so. That's proof enough for me.

I'll wait until I hear anything about these lawsuits filed 3 years ago before I bear judgement.

I'll do the same with Pac's taxes as well. Wait until I either see Manny driving about in a broken down lada and living in a shack above a gym before I write him off as broke, or hear directly from the IRS. I don't get my news from the gutter tabloid that is TMZ.

Either way I'm not a ******* like you say, I'm a fan of Manny's yes, but I follow and discuss the full sport. Would a ******* pick Marquez to KTFO all over again? Because that's my pick.

The only legit attempt was back in 2009 but Pac walked away because of testing. Any other time he's been full of ****.

How did PBF know that Pac would object to random testing that would be given to both fighters? At first Roach said this would not be an issue but it turns out it was.

Why is this even part of the negotiations? If Floyd wins does it matter if Pac was clean or not? Answer no.

And win or lose they both have to take the tests the state boxing commissions mandate, so if Floyd has a problem with that, he should talk to the commissions no include it as part of the negotiations. I don't recall the fab 4 or Ali or Lewis or Tyson or pretty much any fighter you can name, not fighting because of a drug testing dispute. The whole thing is a manufactured issue that never should have existed in the first place.

" ...I would love to have seen that fight take place a few years ago"

    That's the key point.

What's your point. You have to have a case before you can take someone to court. Something had to have been breached in order to get out of the contract, you can't just go to court and say "Your honor, I know I signed this contract but I've had a change of heart" It doesn't work like that.

Fighters in Pac's position should determine who they fight, it is the promoter's job to arrange the fight. Ray Robinson, Ali, Leonard, Oscar and Floyd all determined who they would fight next. I know that Pac always says " It's up to my pimp, er promoter", but at this stage of his career he should be in more control.
