I've boycotted all pacquiao amd mayweather fights since 2010 (pacquiao margarito, mayweather Mosley) if the fight ever happens I won't watch it or buy it at this point. Plenty of more interesting fights in boxing.

And Pac turned it down. What an idiot. He's never made 40M. Floyd has made close to 80M in a fight. Floyd was again RIGHT, Arum's counter offer was a joke. 40M would have been Manny's biggest pay day. FACT!

Would Pac leaving TR be a good thing? I think so, but I'm not on the inside of this business. He's in the twilight of his career and he rose to the top and lived there for years with TR. Maybe he feels loyal to Bob? Can't blame a guy for that. Who does Mayweather think he is? Every boxer shouldn't have to cater to his every demand to fight him. If Pac did leave TR who's to say Money would even fight him? We're not exactly talking about a man of his word here, just a man full of excuses. Personally I think Pac should have worked out a one fight deal where he was a free agent before signing with TR again. Then he could go to Showtime take Money's 0 and make him chase him back to TR. If he could pull him off of Leonard's leg long enough.

'Marquez 5' not yet sure, says Pacman

MANILA, Philippines – If Floyd Mayweather Jr. continues to offer excuses, then they won't have any superfight, according to fighting congressman Manny Pacquiao.

Pacquiao recently signed a 2-year contract extension with Bob Arum’s Top Rank, a move seen to block a supposed lucrative bout with Mayweather, who refused to work with the veteran boxing promoter.

But the 8-division boxing champion said Mayweather is just using Arum as an excuse to decline their superfight.

“Lagi na lang man syang may dahilan eh. Hindi naman ito pera pera at dalawa lang naman kami sa ibabaw ng ring maglalaban. Ibigay na lang ang gusto ng fans,” said Pacquiao in an interview with ABS-CBN Gensan's Francis Canlas.

Pacquiao said he has decided to maintain his working relationship with Arum because the promoter has been good to him.

Under Arum’s promotional outfit, the Filipino boxer has seen multimillion-dollar fights against some of the sports’ biggest stars including Miguel Cotto, Oscar de la Hoya, Ricky Hatton, and Juan Manuel Marquez.

Pacquiao’s contract with Arum will last until the end of 2016.

“Naging masaya naman ako kay Bob Arum at ang laki ng utang na loob ko sa kanya. Binabalik ko lang,” he said.

Meanwhile, Pacquiao said he is not yet sure if he will have another fight against Marquez, who won their last face-off via a stunning knockout victory.

Pacquiao said he is willing to face Marquez as long as they are still fit to fight each other.

“Wala pa, wala pa talaga kung sino makakalaban ko… baka sa sunod kung kaya n’ya pa at kaya ko pang magboksing why not.”

@dangerousity I no longer rate the Ortiz win but Guerrero and Maidana are both multi division titlist and champs. You say Pac's run of JMM, MAB,&EM was so tough but one was on a 5 fight losing streak, one Pacquiao has never legitimately beat in 4 tries, and his best win out of them was vs a guy with recent brain surgery.

Hoya was not seen as a top fighter going into the Pac fight most people were bashing Mayweather for trying to rematch a shot Hoya also if you remember correctly the only reason people were picking Hoya was because they thought he would come in as a MW instead of smaller than Pac, that's not Manny's fault but it is what it is.

As for comments Mayweather sr really has no say in what's going on as for a reading comprehension point you realize saying "I'm a rich coward." And saying "If I'm a coward atleast I'm rich." Isn't the same thing. And saying you won't fight someone without drug testing because your health is more important isn't the same.

Bringing things like this up you seem like the dude who are like. Mayweather said Pac isn't next during the Ortiz Press conference but gloss over the fact that Mayweather actually called Pac out after beating Ortiz.

Listen fight by fight Mayweather is fighting better guys than Pacquiao and has been for awhile. You also state about overhyped fighters well how do young fighters make there names it seems stupid that a guy on a winning streak of three or more years and a title holder is a hypejob bum, but the guy who lost 2/3 fights within 12 months before Pacquiao which is a lot of guys is a beast.

Basically saying that Mayweather has so many reasons not to fight, when at the end it's just them 2 fighting...

Talking to Dan Rafael on ESPN.com, Koncz pointed out that if Mayweather wanted Arum out of the equation, he should have mentioned that a long time ago.

"I don't believe Floyd not fighting us has to do with Bob [Arum]," Koncz said. "Why did he wait until he exhausted all other excuses before saying he wouldn't fight Manny if Bob was involved?

“First he brought up the drug testing [during the initial 2009 failed negotiations]. Then he wanted Manny to sign with him. Then he wanted to pay Manny only a flat fee of $40 million for the fight instead of sharing a percentage [of the revenue]. And now he can't fight Manny because Bob would be involved?” Koncz enumerated.

Actually, Manny is "using Arum as an excuse to decline their superfight", as well.
