Fast Car just attended the IBF convention yesterday and is on his way back.Surely the Porter-Kell situation was finalised.
I would expect an announcement is imminent.

Brook better take this fight. He has to step up to world level at some point.

Porter had looked average untill winning a title and as with some other just being a champ has made him much better, but he has not fought anyone with power so yes he walked though devon and paulie but they cant hit. Brook who knows what hes capable of but we will see soon

Well he tweeted yesterday that he has finalised a contract for a British fighter to fight for the world title (I expect it to be Brook v Porter)

Hopefully but I wouldn't be surprised if it's for somebody else he's talking about like Stephen Smith

Nope - today was when the 30 day negotiation period ends. Purse bids should be called today and need to be submitted in 7 days time.

Eddie and Golden Boy can still do a deal in the interim though.

Brook beating Porter is a big if. But I somehow like that fight almost as much as a Khan-Mayweather fight. In addition, with Brook being a world champion (again BIG IF), that fight may actually be of interest here in the States. The hostility between the two is very real. I honestly see that as an issue for Khan. He seems to fight better when he doesn't get involved in the trash talk out of the ring. The Danny Garcia fight is a perfect example. However, from a pure excitement standpoint, I like the fight.

Khan's record is padded with fighters who people think are better than they actually are; Malignaggi (who was fighitng in the wrong weight class as well), Judah, Collazo, Kotelnik etc.
See how big name fighters they have beaten between them..not very many. Even Maidana's only notable victory was against an overhyped fighter fighting in the wrong weight class.

This allows people to make claims that Khan isn't afraid of anyone, when the evidence is that he is.
He only took the Garcia fight because he thought it'd be easy. Notice how he isn't clamouring for a rematch.

He hasn't beaten anyone that Brook couldn't have beaten. And tbh Khan would've struggled against Hatton, Jones and Senchenko.

Brook just steamrollers Khan if they were to ever meet.

Mate i'm not a Khan lover but your talking shite, Khan has beaten fighters twice the level that Brook has, Paulie who Khan beat destroyed Senchenko and made him look a joke, yet somehow Senchenko will beat Khan. Senchenko is a gatekeeper at best his claim to fame was beating Ricky Hatton after 3 years out, 3 years spent coking and drinking. Jones stop trying to save face for Brook by saying Khan looses to him, Dean Byrne got a draw vs Jones and i thought he should have got the win. Hatton a domestic fighter Khan wins every round. Does Brook beat Khan, idk maybe i have to see Kell at world level first. But to suggest that what Kell has beaten would beat Khan or that Amir's record is comparable to Brooks is absurd. Khan has fought several times at world level Brook has yet to do so.

Brook seems to be the king of what if match ups, too bad in a 10 year pro career, he hasn't faced a top 10 fighter yet, whilst Khan over the same time period has 5 such wins, but these guys apparently are not as good as what people think. Nice logic there.

Khan'ttakeapunch has had better promotion than Brook, also by dint of his beliefs he sells more tickets to folk who know nothing about boxing but just support him because they worship the same sky pixie. This makes him a more attractive proposition for tv companies and promoters.

Brook beats Khantfight every day of the week.

If Brook doesn't fight porter, he may as well pack it in
