To be fair there is always negative feedback on any forum!! I have had a fair bit of it regarding my brother and I just ignored it because there is always people looking to wind you up!!

In regards to Billy, like myself he just says it how he see's it, I have seen Gary on a few occasions and have defo seen improvement. I can't answer for Billy but I think he like alot of people on the forums are just looking at his opposition on paper rather than judging him on how he is improving and I'm sure you will agree that some of his opponents have been of poor quality!! I know he had limited experience in the ams and he is basically learning on the job, so imo he has been brought along the right way!

The ***ton fight is the right fight at the right time imo, Sam ***ton although skilled isn't the biggest hitter out there and will give Gary the best chance to earn his shot at the British and show everyone if he really can become at least a domestic force

I don't mind the negative feedback. But when that is contrasted with thoughts or concerns regarding the underachievement of the subject fighter its worth highlighting.

I agree with the content of your post entirely.

You say your a realist yet you say Gary is " a wrecking machine" well some of the opponents he's faced have certainly been a wreck lets be very honest.
Isaid a very long time ago I've seen many TG fighters with padded records getting title shots way to early I hope it's not the case with Gary and you have the backbone to say no to certain fights and not be dictated to by a manager/ promoter.
You say you've been training him since the beginning yet when I organised sparring with chisora in Fort William i don't remember you?

Naturalmass I think you should take the advice given by Nelson Afterall he's been there and done it, Wereas you seem to have fallen in love with your one and only fighter

Billy, I'm not going to keep harping on so for the last time, it's all about realising Garys full potential.

Regards my involvement with Gary, see post #48

I'm well practiced in saying no. That's never been a problem for me.

Regards taking advice, someone who has been there and done that will always command my full attention but not necessarily my full compliance and agreement.

16 Oz, I don't 'have' a fighter. But I do have a lot of love to give.

Another excellent session chalked off this morning. He'll hit it again this evening.

    Productivity, efficiency, purpose.

I've never saw Gary fight. And I'm Scottish. OK not the most die hard of boxing fans but on that admission his team need to get him out there more.

I’m always a little surprised at the negativity surrounding Gary, I’ve kept tabs on him for a couple years now and I do get frustrated with the lack of decent opposition he’s had so its been hard to assess ability. I don’t know how good his chin is, he’s definitely progressing well but without decent tests, its hard to see how well.

I had high hopes for Richard towers, Browne ruined him… I think Hughie F is miles behind Gary and will fall away, Joshua on the other hand is the real deal and will overtake Gary pretty fast. I think Gary will get the win over S3xton and end up winning against another decent guy like Lewison forthe brit belt but I doubt he’ll have it long with Joshua progressing well.

Mate your too involved with Gary Cornish you can't see what everyone else can see that the minute Gary steps up he gets stopped.

Agreed he's fell in love with his one and only fighter, who has been dropped at a very poor level, let's be honest ***ton is an average fighter strong no punch power so ok step up but no cert to win my any means
