Botha has a lot more left than guys like Williams, Beck, Maskaev. He can still go a lot of rounds, and always shows up fight. He looked better than I thought he would against Wawrzyk, actually winning the first couple of rounds before getting tired and succumbing to Wawrzyks power. That might have a lot to do with Wawrzyk just not being that good, but it's all just goes to show to Botha is still pretty scrappy and game for his age. I know Frans unfortunately isn't willing to throw the towel in... But if he wants to stay fighting he needs to fight guys more or less on his level, Journeymen, shot guys like Williams, Beck, Maskaev etc.

Yeah Botha is shot, but he at least comes to fight... Watching Danny fight is petty damn scary, because half of the time he doesn't even fight back... He's going to get hurt one of these days. Botha actually did a good job at smothering Wawrzyk and won the first 2-3 rounds. Guys like Williams and Beck just have no business in the ring at this point, it's just criminal to give them boxing licences.

Danny is fighting Martin Stensky tomorrow. Stensky has a record of 1 win, 31 defeats with 30 KO's. The only time he won, he beat Josef Kuricaj, who has a 0-18(15) record.

Next week, he is fighting Frantisek Kynkal 3(3)-4.

So he isn't retiring at all. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets 2 losses.

Should really think so, shot beyond belief or not he really should be beating a guy who's won 1 in 32

Danny's farewell fight on 26th July will be against Boris Estenfelder. It's still TBA on boxrec but the promoter has confirmed that it will be against Estenfelder who is one of his boxers. This is being set-up as an emminently winnable fight for Williams, there may even be a minor belt on the line - think International / Intercontinental and think GBU / UBO / GBO so Williams finishes with a both a win and a trinket...

Is Williams even trying to win? Or is he just trying to rake in as much cash as possible before calling it a day? I'm not convinced that he's as shot as he appears to be..... If my assumptions are true then Williams should be banned from the sport for good, showing up and throwing fights for an easy paycheck is despicable...

Physically Williams doesn't look very shot, I think if he even tried in some of these fights against D-level Euro journeymen then we would see a lot more W's on his record.... Could be wrong here, but really starting to think that Danny is throwing some of these fights...
