Cannot believe the sky fanboys are impressed with Frochs usual really fast hands lol. His hands are nowhere near as quick as his opponents on Saturday night,I never saw him practicing his rabbit punches, punches to the back of the head something Froch is a master at.
Groves has already planted seeds with the officials about Froch's habit about that so wonder if the ref will have zero tolerance with it
I hope the ref clamps down on it,Froch rabbit punched Dirrell throughout their fight because Froch wasn`t fast enough to hit Dirrell clean.Dirrell made Froch look like a crude mug the same as Groves did. Froch also got away with hitting on the break against Dirrell and Groves and got away with forearm smashes. Put him in with a smooth skillful fighter and Froch becomes frustrated and resorts to crude tactics just like he will on Saturday.
Probably the best he's ever been. Breaking all sorts of PB's in training, more relaxed, more focused, fitter. There's literally no chance he loses.
Sure they do pads better in private....but Groves is a counter puncher and the work on the pads then showed limited head movement and defensive efforts when he had finished his shots and rob isn't giving him anything to think about when he's finished his combo's. He is keeping his hands up though : ) Seems to me like a session to make loud noises on the mitts and grunt for the crowd.
He looks no different to last time out and once the first bell rings his defence will go to rat **** like it always does with his left hand low throwing punches from the hips. He has every chance of losing as he cannot possibly improve enough from the first fight.
I think he looks in better shape, more focused etc this time. I believe GG will beat him in a very tough close fight...
froch is beyond tough....but...for me, its pick the man on the way up, not the man on the way down...and i know from last time which one is which
