Which Heavyweight CHampion Was The Most Accurate Puncher

Mine too. Of course I imagine that there are a number of men to choose from, but Louis is as good a choice as any.

 

I think there could be a thread on fleetest of foot and fastest of hand heavies and Marciano would still get mentions.

 

Good shout on Moorer :good - first one that came to mind - loved the way he boxed he absolutely was one of the most accurate - absolutely pinpoint and beautiful to watch when in shape and on his game - and funnily enough for me he was basically a southpaw Joe Louis without so much power - but his jab hand was beautiful and he was so precise.

My shout is one who hasn't been mentioned yet though is the great Gene Tunney

 

Tommy Gibbons deserves a mention.

 

I scored the Shelby fight differently than most, I guess.

 

Louis, Ali, Tyson in that order. Tyson gets bumped down because he sometimes threw from long range and missed but in his prime when he was on point he was incredibly accurate.
