Just wondering if anyone has had their tickets yet for Wembley? I bought through official site etc etc but nothing yet. Had an email saying not to get in touch till 48hrs before fight if still no tickets but I feel this is pushing it seeing we are travelling down from Glasgow. Are they usually this late? Cheers G
you buy from the first batch or second? if the second then I think they are probably still being sent out because of the quick turnaround from sale date to the fight. the tickets have to be printed and packed which can take a while. if they are not sent out by thursday expect a phone call from the ticket company to pick them up at the venue. if you bought them from the first batch then its probably a packing error gone unnoticed so you should contact them asap so they can cancel that ticket and get another one out for you to pick up at wembley, but you've left it pretty late for that to happen if thats the case.
I got some from the 2nd batch they came a couple of weeks ago. You can usually check the status online, I'd do that before contacting them.
Bought from the first batch!! When we got then they said that you will receive them no earlier than 12 days before the event and if no tickets before 48hrs then to get in touch. Aaaahhhhh nightmare!!!!!
Ring them. If they havent arrived just go to the ticket booth at Wembley and give your details, card paid with etc and you can get them from there. Sending by special or recorded delivery for 80,000 tickets can cost upto £500,000 for the organisers. It may well be a cost cutting measure for more profitability.
I ordered mine from the first batch and they arrived about 5 weeks ago! I would defo be ringing them.
just get in touch with the ticket company, they'll cancel the ticket and get another one printed and out to you. you'll probably have to pick it up from wembley though with them amount of time it can all take.
To be fair its usually the case with See tickets that standing/general admission tickets are sent special delivery (and they charge you more) as these can not be reissued. Seating tickets (obviously this is all seating) can be reissued (as said usually they'll say you have to collect the 2nd ones taking proof of id card paid on etc) so thats why they are sent standard royal mail.
I'm traveling down from Glasgow as well. We bought through a third party who told us that matchroom didn't send them some tickets on time so they are arranging a venue to collect tickets from close to Wembley on Saturday
Trying to stream it on a dial up connection. :desk Or standing outside rumbelows window in a t shirt in the pouring rain with a bag of chips. :?
