Garcia is not gifted but he is probably one of the most skill boxers of the young guys right now. Believe me, Garcia will be there for a long periode of time.:deal
Like what I said, that doesn't erase his achievements,,... He was the only guy to score a clear win over Matthysse, and made Khan run for his life,,... He struggled but he still pulled it off...
I've always seen him as very beatable to be honest. His 2 impressive wins over Khan and Matthysse but I wouldn't put it past either of them to win a rematch.
I feel like people didn't actually watch that fight closely. Danny lost the first round for sure. Then started learning Khan in the second. By the third he was landing solid counters. The exact moment in the third round when he detonated that left hook on Khan, HBO put up a lower 3rd graphic showing that the number of power punches landed between the two fighters in the third round was the same. That nonsense about Khan dominating and Garcia getting lucky is a bit of a myth. Now, that said, I had Herrera winning the fight. That also said, i don't think people should write of Garcia so quickly. He had a tough night and got a gift, that sh*t happens, but he's still a quality, entertaining fighter.
So this forum think the lineal champ at 140-154 are overrated? Who are good fighters to you people? The other day someone said there's no A level fighters from 140-154 aside from the top 2...
I gotta disagree. I will rewatch the third round again when i have time but Garcia look dazed and starstruck after both rounds 1 & 2. Khan was practically landing at will.
If anything, Garcia has always been underrated and remains to be. You're the first idiot that says he's overrated.
Garcia is a fake ass lineal 140 champ who should rematch his daddy Herrera and also Mathysse, who would destroy him in the rematch, just like he was doing before the lucky eye-rake
He lost to Herrera, moron. Herrera should be the champ lol Garcia, got exposed by a featherfisted guy who lost to freakin Alvarado
