it was up a few weeks ago wlad vs pulev in sept on boxrec..but now its stating wlad vs tba??? wtf is going on? ..the ibf said wlad must fight pulev? what is going on? looking for a rematch with mormec? jesus christ man
Wlad wants Stiverne. The fight with Pulev won't happen. If the Stiverne fight doesn't happen, Wlad will fight Briggs in Germany.
But, wouldn't that mean Wlad would have to drop the IBF belt? Why would he do that, if it is his dream to be unified champ?
Bonte said Sauerland wants crazy money for the pulev fught. I am 100% certain that Wlad will fight stiverne and after that wilder and then pulev.
Pulev is Wlad's mandatory and if both parties can't come to an agreement then it goes to purse bids with Pulev getting 25%. The IBF states mandatory challengers gets 25%, so it doesn't make sense that Bonte is saying this.
Of course not. Its all about the money. Wlad will make way more money vs stiverne than pulev. IBF will allow an unification. IMO pulev is the number one contender, but its all about the money. Stiverne fights means media Hype, US television, legacy, and a lot of money and an easy fight. Pulev means only German tv, pulev is not even known in germany to be honest, no money at all and a difficult opponent. So who will Wlad fight. Of course stiverne. The pulev fight will be next year
Fair enough can't argue with that, but IMHO Pulev would be better for Wlad's legacy rather than Stiverne. As you said though it's all about the money and the chance to unify the titles.
Of course will be pulev legacy wise the better choice. Butvlegacy is allways also the belts. If Wlad gets the WBC belt then he will be the first heavy ever to hold all belts. WBA,WBC,ibf,WBO,ibo and ring. And i dont think we will See this again in the next 30 years
WBC has ordered Steverne to face Wilder. IBF has order Wlad to face Pulev And yet again Wlad wants a fight with Steverne. Organisations are there to enforce rules and fighters are obliged to follow the rules should they want to keep the belts. If Wlad is unhappy with what is happening then he can drop his belts and go become a politician or whatever else he likes.
Yes true, but although Stiverne is the WBC titlist he really is little more than a "paper champion" whilst Pulev is the toughest challenge in the division. Although I do agree a dominant Champion like Wladimir should get the chance to unify all the titles for his legacy.
