Pac would be silly to fight Canelo

It's not even the size difference. It's the difference in boxing ability that worries me for Pac.

Pac is not Floyd, he doesnt have the boxing skills to outbox Canelo. Pac is always there to be hit, Canelo hits harder, is stronger, and Canelo has better boxing skills than Pac

So this fight has only one outcome - Canelo wins by KO

Even if Pac tries his usual trick of draining his opponent (he has suggested a 150 pound catchweight), it will not help him against Canelo

I hope Pac avoids this fight for the sake of himself, and fight someone like Alvarado who he stands a good chance of beating

I concur, Canelo is extremely quick for his size, and his strength far exceeds mannys. He also has a decent chin, so unless manny drains him to a zombie as usual, he would have an extremely difficult time trying to beat this particular Mexican. I see either Canelo out boxing, or knocking manny out again for the 4th or 5th time in his career.

Manny should avoid fighters like Canelo, maidana, Marquez at all costs.
Stick to fighting the Brandon rios of the sport.

    good post

Pac has nothing on Canelo, who is the real deal. The only reason Floyd beat him with ease is that Floyd is just that good

If Pac drains Canelo like he wants to i see Pac starting fast and suprising him for 3 rounds, but then Canelo will have him figured out. Canelo by KO before the 8th

I think Pacquiao would outpoint Canelo at 154.

At 150 it'd be a KO in four rounds. Alvarez can't go that low.

Floyd didn't have size disadvantages when he fought Canelo but Pacquiao does have. He's shorter and smaller than Canelo.

    Jesus :patsch

These three fight absolutely nothing alike. Only thing they have in common is Floyd has fought all of them.

Manny absolutely destroys Maidana, his come forward style would play right into Mannys. He likely beats Canelo aswell.

You *****s are just worried that Pac is going to do a better job in like for like opposition than Floyd......again.

    Here's the numbers

    Mayweather 5'8" 72"
    Canelo 5'7" 70"
    Pacquiao 5'6" 67"
    Cotto 5'7" 67"

I threw Cotto in there for perspective since he's fighting at middleweight now.

I doubt Pacquiao can defend or even take a punch from Canelo. He has no defense. He'd need to be on his bicycle for 12 rounds or knock Canelo out ASAP. At 150 though, I'm not sure.

I don't think Pacquiao should fight anyone at 154. I think 147 is his limit.

If Pac sticks and moves he could easily beat Canelo to a decision.
