***Manny Pacquiao vs Canelo Alvarez***

This fight might actually happen next year according to Arum

pac doesnt have the power to hurt canelo, plus canelo unlike marg has good defense and decent speed...you can compare marg to perro, but canelo is on a different league...

 

People keep thinking this is the old Pac ,The guy has lost a few steps as well as age creeping in ,I don't see Pac taking body shots from Canelo. Early shower for Pac or hospital.

 

I say Canelo by KO but if Pac proved me wrong I'd be really happy lol

 

I doubt this fight ever gets signed. Arum is just trying to keep Manny relevant. You mean to tell me Manny wouldn't fight Paul Williams, Sergio Martinez or even the great Yuri Foreman ffs, but he is going to fight Canelo. Then again, he is ass broke and in debt so maybe I spoke too soon.

Canelo hasn't been devastatingly beaten yet like Margarito, Mosley, Cotto, Morales, Hatton were. He'll wait on the sidelines AS USUAL. Don't expect this fight any time soon. In the meantime enjoy Algieri AT A CATCHWEIGHT.

 

Doubt it happens it still appears Golden Boy and Top rank don't work together otherwise why does it appear Pacquiao will be fighting Algieri next if Golden Boy fighters our available?

Algieri vs Pacquiao could be a good fight when he has a few more top ten wins, but he has fought one guy in the top 10 in the division below.

 

Don't count out Algieri like what you guys did with him against Provodnikov,,... You'll never know, he might pull it off again,,... Pacquiao's actually weaker against outboxers than counter-punchers,,.. If ALgieri can find power to prevent Pacquiao from blasting his head off , he could be the next star,.. He should hire Heredia,,, dude's one of the best S and C coach in the business.......

 

I put VCash on Algieri, but mainly based on style match up and the fact that just before the fight I watched Provodnikov vs Corley and it was a close fight, Corley was past prime at the time.

But Algieri needs a few more wins over top 10 opposition before a fight with Pacquiao, he has 20 boxing fights in total, he would perform better in a fight if he was allowed to gather world class experience.
