.... To throw in the towel when froch is taking way too much punishment ? I really can't see the ref jumping in and calling a halt to the bout knowing how good frochs chin is, it's common knowledge he can take bags of punishment and I really can't see an American ref jumping in on this bout. Question is does McCracken risk his and carls relationship by throwing in the towel when his fighter is on the receiving end of far too much? I'm personally getting a negative vibe from McCracken from what I've saw of him, I think he doesn't want this fight for his fighter...
I have seen the vibe from McCracken as well. Froch is talking about how he is smashing his records all over the place and Rob is saying we have good days and bad days. Make no mistake if Froch is getting a hells beating Rob will throw the towel in. McCracken to me looks like he knows its over with Carl and I think they have already had 'The' Talk.
I'm not quoting stuff he has said, I'm just saying I'm getting that vibe from him And from the sparring footage I've seen I know it's only a few mins but I'm not seeing anything new from Carl he was getting lamped left right and centre from a relative newbie in Eubank jr
If that's the case am sure he will throw it in, that's his job. Old paddy don't need to worry about this predicament though does he.
I agree with that. OK, so it's only a few minutes footage, but isn't Carl supposed to be a different animal this time around? CEJ landed some bombs on him and made him look inept.
agreed, and "does McCracken have big enough balls" ??atsch surely we can't be fans of the same sport.....
We all fall for the hype, do you think they showed that for a reason? from all the sparring they done they showed that clip! If Froch's time is up it's up but I dont think so! I'm sure we will see a better Froch this time out, If he gets beat fair and sqaure fair enough! Pass on the mantle...but If he wins I hope everyone on here comes back and gives Froch the respect he deserves, like him or not he's done great for British boxing.
Rob McCracken is a professional and a gentleman. It has always been a mystery to me how he gets on so well with Froch. If Froch needs to be pulled out then McCracken will not hesitate and he must know by now what Froch can take and what he can't. I'd like Groves to win but there is no outcome that would shock me, early or late stoppage or points win either way.
I was thinking the same. I'm not sure which way to bet yet or whether I will even bother betting on one either boxer but I will defo be having a little bet on a draw. Just because it is long odds and winning a bit of money would be compensation for a dissapointing outcome such as a draw. If both are still standing at the end of 12 rounds it wouldn't surprise me if it is a draw.
They probably showed that clip because of the good exchanges in it.... If froch does manage the win of course I will give him big respect I already respect the guy I just think GG beats him badly this time around
