Khan yes, he is frustratingly arrogant, but he's got a certain charisma Froch doesn't have. He also doesn't make himself out to be a superior human being.

Hatton would put Froch to shame in the arrogance category?

Ok. I'm not going to pretend I know why.

Not British, but the first thing that got me hating Froch was the way when Dirrell was boxing CIRCLES around him and making him look like a fool Froch resorted to dirty, rough house tactics, because he couldn't cope and then getting SUCH a hometown decision he went on to tell us how he won easily and so forth.

Over time a I grew fonder of Froch and stopped hating him, but then the Groves fight reminded me of why I hated him. And it was really strange, its almost like he's autistic or something and can't understand that people will turn on him if he beats his chest after getting a gift stoppage following I don't know how many rounds of getting dominated by the other guy.

point 1 you mean he dont get ktfo so you dont feel sorry for him

point 2 entitlement , speeding running people down , outright lying

point 3 i will bully pacman , i dont want him to have a payday , he brings nothing to the table except 2 british titles which you do not own and a wbc title which you also do not own , put your house on it , admitting to letting his fans down through the lifestyle he lived LOLER

I've not turned against Froch. I think this could go either way tonight but in keeping on topic I see that Froch spoke BS after the fight and didn't help himself...it was a bad decision and everyone knew it but Froch didn't want to admit that. Had the ref called it off in the 1st when Froch was dropped hard and got up groggy he'd have been complaining about a bad ref and screaming for a rematch. Since the fight for a couple of months he was clearly trying to get away from the rematch...he didn't and I still think doesn't want it. But 2 things have pulled it through...demand from the public who would see Froch as chicken Froch if he ran away from this and also the money due to that demand is so immense its not like he can take any other fight that would come close to that. Fighters are in it 1st for the money. Don't ever think they do it for money 2nd. Money talks and Froch was backed into a corner and had to take it. So we should see some kind of justice tonight one way or the other. I do think Froch will be a lot more cautious and respectful of Groves in this 2nd fight...but still GG knows he has the power and skills to potentially KO Froch so a great fight is about to happen...!

So if Froch got KTFO people would start to like him? Maybe they would, but it would be because it would humble him, not just because of the act itself. I already took your point about Khan anyway and said it was because of the charisma. If you don't see Froch's lack of charisma then there is no hope trying to convince you.

Your point 2 is what a lot of young athletes get into. But fine, we'll put Khan and Froch in the same category if you want. You'll have to explain though why Khan is more popular because I thought I had it figured out until you put me right.

I'm not even going to entertain the debate about Hatton being more arrogant than Froch because he simply never was. Not even close. I think you should watch a few Froch interviews to see the smug oozing from him, then you might change your mind.

The IBF ordered an immediate rematch or Froch had to relinquish the belt.

Not turned on him as such although his post fight interview did him no favours. You also need to understand the first fight was in the north where he has a huge following and now its in London so far more Groves supporters will be there to even things out. Both will have huge amounts of fans present (obviously).

Strange comment, Khan is huge in the UK, could easily be in stadium fights too.

    LOL!

After 12 pints of Ale, one cannot exactly appreciate the small and subtle demonstrations of the sweet science.
However, your description of the average Ale soaked Brit alchy's short attention span and later posting of delusional viewpoints does make sense.

Perhaps today's event will see Barney Rubble defeat Fred Flintstone and the Brit fans will set a new record in "Pints Consumed" at an event. :yep

They tried to tell is Froch has an Iron Chin. Froch had a good Chin but it is far from an Iron Chin. I guess they are so desperate for a fighter with Punch Resistance.
