Why did the Britts TURN on Froch their best boxer after he ktfo Groves?

Although Groves's boxing technique relative to Froch's is better, I would hardly label them as "great", but better than Froch's very poor technique.
Groves technique is such that he would very likely lose to Kessler.

Kessler only made it to the Super6 semi-finals while Froch made it to the finals. So, how is Kessler a better win than Froch?
Not to mention, a win over Dawson is better than a Kessler win anyday of the week. :yep

 

Is this a serious question? Because Kessler beat Froch in his next fight after he lost to Ward which proves that version of Kessler > Froch.
Dawson is not a better win. Dawson never did anything at 168 because he is no good at that weight.

Quite simply it is the British sporting mentality. We love a "hard luck" loser and dislike and distrust winners. The other thing is there's a certain element of bandwagon jumping. Froch is nearly 37, win or lose he hasn't got long left whereas Groves is approaching his prime. Some people think the rematch might be a Hatton-Tszyu style "changing of the guard" fight and want to be the first ones on the bandwagon.

I'm not one of these, I am a big fan of Froch for all he's achieved and want to see him demolish Groves.

 

All mentioned fighters are top level. Don't get the need to put down any of them with your 'caveman' jibes earlier in this and other threads to be honest. Strange mentality.

 

Be honest. Groves is right as rain when he said that Froch has a terrible boxing technique. Actually, he is as bad as Author Abraham and his poor technique was long ago exposed by Dirrell, Taylor, and Ward long before Groves.
Caveman analogy is appropriate because like I said earlier, froch is less of a boxer and more of a brawling warrior style. He and Edison Maranda have much in common. :yep

 

Look I agree Groves, plus the others you mention, have better technique than Froch but so what, this still should be a good fight. Sorry you can't appreciate it.
