I was never a big fan of him in the ring, but I agree that he is a good commentator.

Yes he's old and set in his ways but show him respect - I think Paulie is helping him tonight by making him step up and actually Jim is talking sense because of it.

I think the SKy guys know that Jim is slipping slightly but out of respect for a great servant they won't bin him off- they've just brought in Paulie to support him.

Reminds me when HBO had Roy Jones on to keep Lampley/Merchant in check.

There should be a clear out in Sky boxing commentary. Even if you don't like them in real life people like Bellew, Smith and Paulie really do put the old guard to shame.
