Froch getting all the attention, proving time and time again that he is the more accomplished British fighter and world champion.
Calzaghe and Froch are pretty even to me. Calzaghe didn't face an opponent like Ward. It did become obvious what kind of boxer is Cobra in the last 2 years.
As much as I despise Calzaghe, I have to be honestly fair here. They're not even and not close to it either. Froch is way ahead of Calzaghe both accomplishment wise and career. Froch fought the best and went all over the world to fight them, he never hid in a pub fighting unknowns for years. He wanted attention and ran after it to get it. The fact that Calzaghe's biggest fight and win came when he had over 40 fights against someone with 20 fights is embarrassing.
All Calzaghe can do is wait for Froch to fight another opponent and then he will come out of his cave to remind people he once existed, and still no one will remember what he said only two hours after he says it.
Froch is an active fighter who just won a grudge match which was the biggest domestic fight in many years in emphatic fashion. Of course he's getting more attention right now than a fighter who retired five year ago. Accomplishments, however, have Froch behind Calzaghe. Froch's accomplishments are: 2 time WBC, 1 time IBF and 1 time WBA (Regular) Super Middleweight Champion Calzaghe's accomplishments are: 1 time WBO, 1 time IBF, 1 time WBC, 1 time WBA (Super), and the first Ring Super Middleweight Champion, 1 time Ring Light Heavyweight Champion. And, Froch has never beaten a fighter of the same level as 2007 Kessler or 2008 Hopkins.
