Pretty sure iv spelt his name wrong but eh im not the best at spelling. His input was fantastic I thought would love to see him on more shows in the uk. Loved the fact he talked people thro all the technical stuff during the replays of the ko punch he explained how froch cut the distance with the little faint stepped in with the left which he explained was designed just to take groves eye off the right then boom! He is head and shoulders over every other commentators Iv heard I also like listening to teddy atlas for the same reason very technical but paulie was brilliant hope to see much much more of him
agree with buster paulies inputis quality not just saying same old stuff over and over like most of other sky commentators
It's a shame that Sky didn't have the balls to ditch Jim Watt and have Paulie as part of a two man commentary team. His input was far less than when he's on Showtime, and as mentioned above, he had obviously been told to wait until being asked to speak.
Thought he was good, insiteful and enthusiastic, always a good combination. Jim Bloody Watt was eclipsed............don't take much like.
I love Paulie but he seems like he's had the stuffing knocked out of him with that last fight. Very subdued. Jim was trying to get him involved all night. Think the best moment was Paulie being pretty harsh on McDonnell's skills (sorry, but Mcdonnell isn't basic by any means) and saying rightly that Jamie had no power... and whilst Paulie was explaining this... boom!
