If Froch manages to get a big W against another top level SMW or LWH for that matter

If Ward is willing to take the test for a rematch Froch defeats the glass chinned fraud.

 

Edwin Rodriguez and George Groves are both unproven.

Ward's inactivity is irrelevant as he has beaten every credible threat. Kessler, Bika, Abraham, Froch, and Dawson. That 5 will go head to head with any another other SMW's top 5. Add in the fact that he is undefeaed and most believe he is untouchable and you have a fighter that won't relinquish that top spot until he moves up in weight.

 

Except he won't because Froch was schooled last time and nothing has changed since to think different if Ward is a fraud what does that make Froch who lost a one side fight to him.

 

And yet Ward schooled Froch. And he did it with a broken hand.

 

Its a debateable thing I guess.
This could be wrong below, but I think it is correct and as I recall it.
During the S6, Ward beat Kessler and I seem to recall the ring ratings moving around and Bute being put at #1, with Ward at #2 for the Kessler win and Bute at 1. I think Ward went above after the Green or Bika win.
Kessler beat Froch and went above Froch. Then Froch beat Abraham and I think went above Kessler. If that is correct how did Froch just go above Kessler one win later?

Somehow Ward and Froch ended up numbers 1 and 2 before they fought which made a Ring champ. So Froch lost to Kessler and beating a fighter coming off a loss and after a SMW journeyman who was boiled down from LHW, put him above Kessler and Bute.

As said that may be incorrect, but dont think it is

 

I can't see Froch beating Ward and he's fought everyone else at super middle.

I'd really like to see Froch in with Golovkin or Kovalev. Failing that Chavez Jr could be quite entertaining, if somewhat less competitive.

 

ward would beat froch easily again. The rematch wont happen... no way does froch end his career trying to beat ward.. he'd end on a loss..

 

Ward has been inactive so long that Froch should be rated above him now. Of course Ward is better, but he is retired for all intents and purposes.

Froch has beaten everybody Ward has (or has beaten people who have beaten the guys Ward beat, like Dawson), but Ward has that clear win over him.

 

Ward fought 6 months ago vs. a top 5 ranked SMW. A SMW that has no proven no more and no less than George Groves. Froch's next fight vs. JCC Jr. will be against another "name", not "talent".

 

Froch will never be better than Ward until he actually beats Andre Ward in a fight.

 

Kovalev would be a suicide wish for Froch, christ everyone knows Froch has a shite defense, the guys very much a SMW fighting Kovaelv at LHW would be brutal for him if George Groves hurt him in the first fight Sergey would take his head off. I'm not hating Froch he doesn't need to go to LHW but Kovalev eats him alive Froch has a style to play right into his hands.

 

a smw would be mental to go up and face KO4Clev, the guy is a monster and could hold his own at heavyweight, for crying out loud.

Forch would be best advised to chase some 40something LHWs in the style of joe cal, but the problem is he is not cowardzaghe enough to do that. Sorry I mean not 'cowardly' enough, my bad spelling there.

 

A DeGale win does nothing for him. Chavez and GGG are who he needs to be looking at next. A win in Vegas would be huge for the Froch 'brand'
