It takes time my brother..... remember Martinez is on his way out, he fought the best there always way available to him for chump change.... now that he is on his way out, he owes no one any favors but to himself. He deserves a good pay day before he retires, thus Miguel Cotto bought.

Look at GGG, willing to move to 168 to fight Chavez on PPV but not willing to move up to fight Ward on HBO... why not? Money.... same with Martinez.

The difference is that Martinez is in the same division as Golovkin. Also, I don't blame Sergio for picking Cotto instead of Golovkin as he's coming from an injury layoff, and it's reasonable not to fight the very best guy straight away after such a long pause. However, if he defeats Cotto, then he should fight Golovkin next.

sergios promoter admitted already that they are praying ggg moves up to 168 so they don't have to fight him they didn't put it like that but you get what i mean

Cotto brings them into MSG. That is why this fight is happening. GGG will get his shot soon.

Stop whining and tell your boy GGG to start building up half the resume Cotto has. Until he does, he brings nothing to the table to make it worthwhile for Martnez, Froch, or any other top tier prize fighter.

With the dismally poor state of GGG's resume, he should be fighting every three months to make up for having fought no one.

I don't agree with that. It took Martinez 11 rounds to stop Macklin. (Macklin dropped Martinez in the 2nd.) GGG did it in 3. GGG stopped Curtis Stevens. That is quite a notch on anyone's belt.

GGG is ready to fight for the title right now, and I think he takes it. It will happen soon. In fact, it might be the winner of the Cotto-Martinez fight. He will beat the winner of that fight.

I would love to see a GGG-Canelo fight. The Canelo myth would come to an end.

I don't see GGG losing to any of these guys, Cotto, Martinez, Alvarez. None.

The middleweights keep calling out the lighter weights shamelessly ignoring GGG!!!
