He just needs to get the winner of cotto vs Martinez in the ring that would be his breakthrough moment. Once he has that lineal belt they have no choice but to fight him.........

the kid has everything going for him just needs the mega fights:deal

I personally don't want to see either guy get battered by him and they don't want it either. He's getting avoided.

I think he would too bro. Hopefully someone in his camp urges him not to. He's had some bad beatings in his career, this one, at his age, would destroy him. But cotto fights the best and if he won, who else is there to fight?

Martinez or Cotto ain't gonna waste their time fighting GGG... lol get serious.
This whole promotion of Martinez/Cotto has been built on the A-Side/B-Side storyline & I guess that would make Golovkin what??

Exactly... No money to be made.

If he was american he would be PPV star already as a champion Martinez should of given Golovkin a tittle shot last year

Cotto-Golovkin would be a horrible mismatch, I hope it never happens, even if Miguel somehow manages to beats Martinez

He should just step up to 168lbs rather than wait about getting avoided by opponents who know he can overpower them.

I think Golovkin will have to move up to SMW to get the big fights, even though he is a smaller MW he spars with bigger guys almost exclusively. I think when he knocks out Ward that will propel him to P4P status.

i dont want ggg to move up to 168 unless he has to..

there still fights for him at 160 and new fighter will break through.

and if we have hbo and showtime ready to do business soon we will have lots more of fights. i jst dont want him to move up to 168 just because i want it to b a smart move because he knows making weight will soon become an issue

His records suggests potential. Seems like a good bloke too!

Until he gets more highly rated opponents, it is just speculation.
