Ward said he'd be willing to fight there "as long as he is the A-side of the negotiations"

Because we all know Ward is a massive draw that sells out huge stadiums and does great TV numbers in his entertaining fights, and it will be him- not Froch- that fans will flock to Wembley in their 10,000 to see and pay for the event on Sky....:patsch

You keep saying that Froch doesn't want the fight but he's been trying to get the fight since the Bute fight, but Ward is unwilling to budge on his ridiculous demands (ie Froch earned more from the Mack fght that what he'd get from a Ward rematch), this is why Ward is not getting top fighters in the ring and why the only person holding up his career his Ward himself.

Ward is a moron. He is slowly crawling up his own arsehole ... into total obscurity. Even Mayweather, the most well known active fighter on earth right now - he helps himself - does promotion work to keep his face in the fans minds. How about that, the best known boxer can be bothered to turn up at other fights, even going to other countries with a world promotional tour (doing 6 venues in england). Trying and create some interesting storyline that will get fans excited in the sport. Ward should have come to England to watch the Froch fight! ... at the least just so people even know he's still around. I don't have the list of who was there but a lot of guys in with a shout made the effort to generate interest in themselves and the sport. But not Ward. It's like he believes he's too good and it will all come to him. That's the impression I get.

Ward will retire from boxing like a lot of other boxers have - as talented but highly forgettable. And so he gets what he deserves. The fact is, other than satisfying boxing purists, Ward's dull fighting style is complimented by an even **** poorer moody non engaging personality.
