Better Chin - Froch or Chavez?

Froch has fought the better fighters of course. Chavez while he hasn't been down or KOed has not fought a puncher not to mention a savage puncher.

So you could say Froch because although he has been down twice he has fought the better competition or you could say Chavez because he hasn't been knocked down. Yet.


Jury is still out.

 

Chavez has fought guys he's out weighed by at least 20Lbs in some fights FFS! Up until recently he was going into bouts on fight night at cruiser weight levels and fighting blown up LM's to boot. He may well have the better chin, but in No way has it been tested like Froch's chin has. I really doubt Maravilla hits even remotely as hard as Kessler, Pascal, Groves or even Bute for that matter. Dumb question anyway to be honest....

 

Get back to me when Chavez takes punches off someone he doesn't outweigh by 20 pounds lol.

Gotta say Froch, he's fought the bigger men and bigger punchers. Chavez Jr took a lot of punishment from Martinez but Martinez isn't a noted puncher he only has about a 50% KO ratio.

 

Both have iron chins too close to call. With that said Froch has faced bigger punchers.

 

Chavez has never faced a genuine puncher, Froch will annihilate and stop him before the 10th round.

Who has Chavez fought who's punching power compares to Taylor, Pascal, Groves, Dirrell, Bute, Kessler and Abraham? :nut

 

Kind of ridiculous question.. It's like asking who has the better chin between Paulie Malignaggi and Mikael Zewski? Just because Paulie was KO'd before and Mikael wasn't, it doesn't mean Zewski has the better chin.
