I agree with that. DLH has the substance problems. I doubt he is able to hold it together on his own.

Where does this leave guys such as Amir Khan, who is advised by Haymon but also contracted with GBP?? This could get interesting. I'd love to see some cross-match-ups between Top Rank and GBP fighters. Here's my wish list:

    Tim Bradley vs. Amir Khan
    Marcos Maidana vs. Manny Pacquiao
    Danny Garcia vs Postol
    Terrence Crawford vs. Adrien Broner
    Provodnikov vs. Maidana
    Tim Bradley vs. Maidana
    Amir Khan vs. Manny Pacquiao
    Matthysse vs. Provodnikov

The possibilities to me are exciting as a fan. Too bad many of these fights will never materialize.

Be interesting to see what happens in the next floyd card

It's not just who he himself actually fights but his PPV #'s have been so impressive cos he stacks the undercard with big names off the GBP roster

If Mayweather fights Maidana, then he'll be working on GB card anyway, right?

It depends on where the Haymon GB fighters will go. Lots of them weren't tied into contracts so could potentially leave with Schaffer: if that happens De La Hoya will likely sue because Schaffer should have tied them to GB in their contracts. I think things will happen pretty quickly from here. Its been brewing for months and I don't think Schaffer would leave unless he had a fair idea that he was set up for after: maybe he will go to one of the smaller promoters and try to bring the GB fighters with him, maybe he will set up his own promotion company. I hope it doesn't lead to more cold wars and network battles.
