I know there's other threads but without a poll.

How does this one unfold ?

Pretty much it. as much as I hate to say it, if Cotto wins it's probably because Martinez wasn't at his best. I can honestly see Martinez blowing out a knee or something and not able to continue. That's why I'm hesitant to buy this PPV cause it might not be decided on the actual boxing.

Martinez has been down in each of his last 3 fights, whatever that is worth. But I do think he can stop Cotto.

I see Cotto well on his way to a UD, comfortably out boxing him, forcing Martinez to move around, when all of a sudden.....Martinez goes down in a heap of messed up body parts in this "happy ending" storyline:hey

A prime Martinez would school Cotto, but we all know Martinez has knee problems.

This fight could got either way and either fighters can win by TKO/KO or decision, depending on the health of Martinez.

Size matters, I go with the natural bigger guy.

Martinez is nothing without his knees for movement. Cotto can't fight a southpaw to save his life. Cotto is the smaller man moving up. Martinez is the older man who has looked his age and is coming off a year layoff.
All that said, I'd pick Martinez to win by UD, but be hesitant on a stoppage because I'm not sure his movement will be there to set the punches up like he wants.
    But
I can also see a scenario where he blows out a knee and it's Yuri Foreman all over again...but if nothing freakish happens I expect Cotto to get demolished.
    Martinez UD/Stoppage

Martinez will start slow and Cotto will win a few close, early rounds. It'll be a boring first 6 rounds. Around round 7 or 8 Martinez will turn it up. He'll start beating up Cotto pretty bad, knock him down a few times and score an 11th TKO.

Cotto should have fought Canelo. Much more compelling than this one sided beat down.

He could have made more money, and still had a better chance of winning another title.

I believe the idea was that the Canelo fight is still there even if he loses to
    Martinez:conf
