Nicely summed up. My own assessment.

    I get ya now.

This is a somewhat rare instance where I find myself in total agreement with everyone (i.e, McClellan > Groves).

OTOH, I am less convinced of the Froch > Benn proposition though I can see a case for Froch having some merit in certain scenarios.

In opposition to most here (I would predict), I think as McClellan was not yet prime and following the progression of his rivals Liles and RJJ and what he was already demonstrating against Jackson and Benn, Gerald would have been a dominant fighter for many years and would pick him to come out on top and eliminate ALL SMW comp (Benn/Collins/Nunn - as RJJ vacated and moved up in '96 and JT out ate multiple divisions - and certainly the later two stay at home WBO/IBF holders) from that point forward if not for his (unfortunately) compromised condition.

There were lots of goods fights that he could have been a part of from '95 on at SMW to LHW.

Disagree entirely. Gerald was coming apart at the seams in more ways than one at that point. Even if he'd gotten past Benn, it was only a matter of time before he was done- and it'd have been sooner rather than later.

You'll have to sell it a whole lot better than that.

Actually, no. No I don't, Nay Sayer.

Do the homework yourself and you'll see why, because of in-ring and out of the ring factors, it makes no sense to believe McClellan had years of dominance left in him. I'm not wasting my time on a troll that's not particularly entertaining in the first place.

I understand you've got some fixation on this "Nay Sayer" (as you've mentioned him twice in reference to me) but why don't you simply pull up his posts and compare them with mine. You won't find anyone on this site that writes similarly to me (and you've got a thousand posts as a reference against whatever he/she has). I don't have to go look for posts by "Nay Sayer" (or anyone) to know this unequivocally. It is a matter of writing style, word usage, and approach.

Just pull your head out and cross check and you can put your fear of this apparently infamous (to you) poster back where it belongs (i.e., on hold until he actually appears or reappears to trouble your ESB existence or haunt your dreams or whatever he's done to you).

Next time don't respond to my post (when your panties are running that tight) unless you have something meaningful to say and you won't get an equally glib response back that effectively rattles your teeth.
