    Hi

    Personally, I cant see Froch winning this for the following reasons;

1.On fight night,Chavez Jnr will be much heavier than Froch in the ring

2.Chavez Jnr has a very good chin and will be able to absorb Froch`s best shots.

3.Chavez Jnr is an excellent body puncher which is something that Froch has not faced in his previous fights.

4.Froch`s punch resistance seems to be fading as he's been in some wars!

To me, this is a very risky fight for Froch because psychologically, he seems quite fragile and insecure and losing this fight, would reduce the Groves win and his previous accomplishments (in his mind at least) to zero.

I disagree with most of your assessment and points.

    1. Weight is not an advantage against someone with a great beard themselves and who will force the pace for 12 rounds.

    2. 'Absorb' maybe but that ain't winning him this match.

    3. Bute is an excellent body puncher with fast hands, Kessler displays good all-round punch selection. Jnr Has nothing Froch hasn't seen (and dealt with) before IMO.

    4. I might have agreed until I saw him las weekend. Looked v strong.

As for 'psychologically fragile'..........that's essentially farcical.

Bet against Froch in this one at your peril....

People say Chavez has a great chin I think so too but he has not faced a puncher at 168. Sergio also swelled him up badly and he is perhaps not a full 160 pound fighter. So I think Chavez will get a rude awakening if he fights Froch.

Froch to win on points, but by no means an easy fight.

(Possibility of a controversial decision in Vegas though).

Carl wins this easily imo. I know he'll want to bow out on a high but taking this fight would be ending his career in a contrary fashion to what went before.

I hope he takes a more challenging fight. Despite Ward being as dull in the ring as he is out of it the fight would still sell... in England. Mind you he says he wants to fight in Vegas...

Dispatch Chavez then fight Ward in a glorious homecoming?

    It's a joke of a fight.

Jr has done nothing at 168.

Chavez will make Froch look like Ray Leonard.

Froch did have difficulty with Johnson who was a pressure fighter but I'd say he comfortably outpoints the Mexican

Perfect "business sense" fight for Froch. Chavez Jr lacks punching power, doesn't have quick hands and isn't great in defence. Very similar to the Abraham fight but I'd lean towards a knockout and Chavez won't turtle as much.

Froch would jab Chavez jrs face off. Chavez will come to fight though and froch will have to take some punishment along the way but I see a 116-112 type UD for froch. One things certain, this one is going the distance unless facial damage stops it.
