He was fun to watch didn't duck anyone a true champion. Had a great jab with decent power and good boxing skills. However, I didn't agree with his decision wins over Hopkins.

Who did you want to see him fight other than those fighters?

So instead of rematching Hopkins and fighting Wright (both in the top 5 p4p) and setting up the Pavlik match, you're mad that he didn't travel to Germany to fight Abraham, a guy whose best win at that time was against Edison Miranda?

    Ok.

And by the way, your 'world' champion Abraham defended his MW title all of ONE TIME outside of Germany.

    Talented but flawed .

    He was a 7 round fighter .

Edison Miranda and Taylor hated one another , and I thought it was in JTs best interest to avoid him like he did .

Jermain always crumbles when it comes to power punchers .

Yet I have great respect for him , he fought Hopkins 2x and then Winky Wright right after that . I mean that's massive respect right there . Those are 2 guys who are difficult to look good against , let alone beat .

And JT gladly fought them .

I thought he won the first B hop fight by just being more active than Bernard .

The Winky Wright fight was a Draw . I felt that result was correct .

Didn't see the spinks fight .

He was NOTHING like Calzaghe .

JT never avoid the risky fights . He was willing to test himself against the best .

Oh I remember , make no mistake about it .

That's when Pavlik started calling out Calzaghe , and Calzaghe wanted absolutely nothing to do with him and went on to choose 39 year old Roy Jones cause he thought that fight would do more for his legacy . (It was a way easier fight)

    He thought wrong .

Many years after his retirement , still no one gives him credit for that victory .

He should have took on Kelly .

Kelly actually was also dropped in an earlier fight on his way up the rankings. He got dropped hard and was a bit wobbley for a moment after getting up. Kelly came back to knock the dude out later that roumd or the next round. I could probably fimd it on youtube again if you care. But yeah, Jermane did drop Kelly and it wasn't no flash knockdown either.

He's on par with Danny Jacobs.

Solid top 20, but quite vulnerable to the bigger punchers.

Can otubox a guy for 11 rds then bam......light out.:good

Wright did take off the last round...but he arguably won it anyway. He cost himself the fight on the official cards.

I had him winning 7-5 and I think I gave Taylor the last round.
