I think the best way to survive in this world is to be suspicious of everything; yourself, your trainers, your MD, your exercise community and especially training time frames. What are training routines but a collection of subjective and unreliable narratives presented as fact simply because it was done by another successful athlete. Training routines as told by "successful trainers" is like an impressionistic painting subjected to photoshop. The greater the clarity the greater the distortion of events that happened a long time ago. In closing most modern training falls under quantum training. I hope that this answers your questions and I'm here to answer anything.

How in the **** did you come to this conclusion from any of my posts? I think distance running is useless to boxers.

I sense, and hope, you are not being serious. Being a PhD, Closedguard would know that one would need to at least be assessed to know where there general level of conditioning is and what specific adaptations need to occur for a sport as complex and multifaceted as boxing.

The first thing that we must do is to improve is your oxygen uptake. By the way I have no idea what your vo2 max is.

Here are two bursting sprints to be done weekly they are the following.

    1. Sprint at maximum effort for 20 seconds rest 60 seconds and repeat twice more! Successive runs at that distance are taken 10% less not 12%. Remember to jot down the distance.

    2. Sprint at maximum effort for 30 seconds and rest for 60 seconds and repeat twice more making sure that the distance covered 5% slower with 1.2 minute rest.

Hypertrophy of Type IIa Fibers will get 20% larger and it's not uncommon for them to be over twice as large. This is good news, fast twitch muscle fibers have significantly greater growth potential than slow twitch fibers.

Now how do we target fast twitch fibres in the upper body and what exercise shall we do ? Well what we know is that the pectoralis major is composed of approximately 60% fast twitch fibers. Have any of you noticed that hard punchers often have lean muscle mass around their chests?

This brings us to the PUSH exercise, for that we'll perform the best ever called the neck press 1 set 8 reps 75% 1rm.

Horizontal neck dumb bell press 1 set 8 reps 60%

    Day 2
1 set of 10 squats at 75% 1RM must be done with by 10 jump squats, repeated 3 times.

3 sets 10 reps at 75% for jump squats? I think that % is way too high.

You do realize you put 75% of 1RM for 3 sets of 10 jump squats?
