Cotto doesn't look that much physically smaller than Martinez now...

Come fight night, Martinez is going to have 10 lbs on him and is taller.

Cotto appears to be the same size he ever was, its just Martinez is on the final week and cutting.

He looked pretty big to me, he was definitely more than 10lbs over, **** he'll weigh 170-175 on the night Einstein

So you're saying he pretty much just had to cut water to make weight, u obviously don't know ****

Lets Examine Cotto at 154: Cotto stopped a damaged eye Margarito, beat a washed up punching bag Mayorga, beat a bad knees feather-fisted Foreman and out-boxed by Mayweather+Trout along with being hurt by both.

Canelo and Lara showed they have more punching power than Cotto, because they actually dropped Trout along with beating him. To be honest i would give Lara or Canelo a better chance against Martinez and i'm not sold on Cotto is this new Monster after beating Delvin Rodriguez with Freddie Roach.

I have the feeling we will see a aggressive Cotto in the first couple rounds, but once he tastes Martinez's punches he will go back to the same old Cotto that just plods, gasses, gets busted up and looks to survive.

I think power will be Cotto's main problem. At some point, he will get caught by a Martinez left and he won't take it well.

    I completely agree

Except on your point about Lara and Canelo vs Sergio, or we'll at least this version of Sergio, I'd favour them both heavily in fight against Martinez at this point

Vinnie Paz was just 5ft 7in&1/2 and he tried, God, he tried like a man possessed against Roy Jones Jr at 5ft 11in tal in 1995 at the Convention Center in AC, NJ. At fight night, Sergio at 5'10'' and 73'' of reach probably coming at light muscular, lean muscular weight of 170 pounds is against another 5'7''tall 160 plus pounder with 67'' of reach ( Pazienza was 70'' of reach) and had the faster flurry puncher at the ropes but waisted himseld and went es at the deck in the sixth. Pardon me but I cannot Forget that fight.

He wont need legs...If Cotto tries to trade with him, he's getting carrioed out, Paul Williams style.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. I happen to be a Haugen fan.

There is a noteable difference between them, but I wonder i Martinez knows how to impose his size on another guy - usually he is the one who is smaller than his opponents. That said, Sergio does have ko-power and when fighting a small guy like Cotto his punches will feel that much harder.
