And no doubt cotto will floor him, but he'll still win cause thats how sergio rolls

 

Martinez' has has injuries, knee injuries caused his balance to be off, that appears to be the reason the the Cotto camp tried to get the NY boxing commission to refuse to allow Martinez to wear a knee brace........................Although since there was the inception of legal action the commission changed it's mind..........

Cotto hitting harder than JCC is simply impossible, and it shouldn't even be discussed.

But even if in a parallel universe that could be a thing, anoter fact is that Cotto will gass even more than he usually do, with the added weight.

If ***y has anything left this is going to get ugly quick, Cotto is a great fighter has had a number of great fights but he's shop worn.

 

Roach is so overrated. Even not 100% Martinez is still better than Cotto. If we see the Martinez from the Chavez fight Cotto gets destroyed and knocked out.

On Chavez: "His work ethic is great". "He is a hard worker. And he does care".

Roach before Cotto-Martinez fight:

On Cotto: "Cotto hits harder than Chavez". "Chavez does not hit hard".

Well, technically, nothing in those statements contradict each other.

 

He was lying on Chavez work ethics, monster lie, and he is lying again on Cotto hitting harder than Chavez.

 

Cotto is a tough lil dude and does have some pop, in the first rounds he can drop Sergio, won't surprise, but he needs to land more than one bomb, a masterful, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr type of breakage of Sergio, by stoppage. But that in itself is a huge risk and Cotto would have to have his whiskers nipped and chin will get tested. Sergio is also very brave and dangerous when he is wounded. But tho I do think Cotto is the better, more experienced fighter than Chavez Jr, throws better, crisper combinations, Jr has bigger one punch power, tho he'll only land one or 2 in one round. Sergio took fight ending punches from Williams and that monster hook from Jr, shots I don't see Cotto recovering from.
