I see your point. It was a different time back then highly touted prospects specially those coming out of the olimpics were brought up quite quickly, it wasnt only Mayweather his fellow olimpic team mates Fernando Vargas and David Reid took almost the same time and the same route(fighting the same type of opposition) as Floyd but then they ran into a guy called Felix Trinidad and their careers went in a downward spiral while Floyd is still going strong today.
