Brähmer is snapping out long jabs while leaned back on the outside. Brähmer slingshots in with a 1-2 and pushes off Bolonti's chest while slipping a few water-pail shots dumped down on his head from the high guard. Bolonti is putting out his 1-2-3 from a comfortable distance, falling in and pushing off as Bolonti covers up and blocks most of the punches. Left hand around the guard by Brähmer, wobbling Bolonti a little.

Brähmer is staying outside, standing up tall in his rocking-chair, flipping up right jabs from the hip. Bolonti is pressing forward, too slowly and uninventively, all straight angles, full steam ahead. Brähmer is catching Bolonti with left uppercuts to head and body swooping in behind the right jab and then quickly tiptoeing out. Bolonti grabs Brähmer and spanks him with a right across the spine. Bolonti drops low and submarines in quickly with a right feint downstairs, but instead rises up with his guard in place, not firing anything. Brähmer is flurrying across the top of Bolonti's head as the challenger leans in to grab.

Round 8

Brähmer is breaking free of clinches and working the jab into Bolonti's face. Brähmer is caught frequently as Bolonti pins him between his arms, then chops at the back of the head. The ref takes a point from Bolonti for rabbit punching. Brähmer jumps into a clinch and tries baiting him into doing it again with a bend of his neck. Bolonti looks at the ref with nervous incredulity, like "You see this??"

Round 9

Brähmer is bouncing around, spearing the right jab into Bolonti's face from long range. Bolonti keeps his gloves up tight over his cheeks, moving forward and in diagonals to get angles on Brähmer, just too much slower of foot. Wide right-handed slash by Bolonti, missing as Brähmer fades to his own right. Brähmer jabs and encircles Bolonti's abdomen in his left arm, waltzing past him and turning him around. Chopping rights up close by Bolonti, hammering as hard as he can in blind hope of finding Brähmer's head. Chopping left now by Bolonti, falling into another brief clinch, Brähmer giving him a conciliatory, condescending "there there, thattaboy" pat on the back before letting go! :rofl
